The new GPT-4o by OpenAI and Enhanced Personalized Learning

This week OpenAI introduced GPT-4o, a new GPT model free to use at ChatGPT. According to OpenAI, GPT-4o is twice as fast and 50% cheaper than GPT-4 Turbo, which was its most advanced GPT model until this week.

But what really makes GPT-4o stand out is its multimodal capabilites. Unlike its predecesors, GPT-4o seamlessly integrates text, vision, and audio inputs and outputs, enabling more natural, human-like interactions. GPT-4o features a new ChatGPT Voice interface, that can handle interruptions and even pick up on a user's emotions!

I watched OpenAI’s GPT-4o demo and I was amazed by how quickly and naturally ChatGPT was able to converse.

Furthermore, the ChatGPT store is now free to all ChatGPT users. By providing free access to GPTs, OpenAI is furthering access to a wide range of helpful educational resources.

There is much to be excited about, but some concerns as well.
